COMMITMENT MAKERS

Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Commitment Makers are individuals or organizations that have ongoing projects that were initiated as part of their CGI membership activities. Commitments to Action are new, specific, and measurable initiatives undertaken by CGI members to address global challenges in the areas of economic development, global health, education, energy, and climate change. Varying in size and duration, commitments can focus on an array of issues, regions, and types of activities. The CGI membership is made up of a diverse group of global leaders, including heads of state, CEOs, and heads of nonprofits. In order to use the Commitment Maker Seal (the "Seal"), a CGI member must have an active commitment approved by CGI with documented progress.

CGI is not a grant-making organization and does not provide funds directly to commitment makers. Instead, CGI acts as a marketplace of ideas, resources, and knowledge and facilitates productive partnerships that result in social change.

By granting permission to use the CGI Commitment Maker Seal, CGI is not endorsing or indicating an affiliation with the commitment or the commitment maker. Instead, the Commitment Maker Seal is intended for use solely by CGI members in good standing with an active and ongoing commitment approved by CGI so that the CGI member can identify themselves as a Commitment Maker. CGI reserves the absolute right, in its sole discretion, to revoke this limited use license of the CGI Commitment Maker Seal at any time.

If you are a CGI commitment maker and want to learn more about the seal, email membercommitment@clintonglobalintiative.org.
